Michigan’s Earth Day Expo

April 22 is Earth Day and residents in Rochester, Michigan can participate in the state’s largest Earth Day Celebration – the Earth Day Expo. The expo will be held on April 18-19.

Since its inception in 1970, Earth Day has grown into the world’s largest annual secular event, observed in 150 countries by over one billion people. Upland Hills Ecological Awareness Center is pleased to present the fourth annual Earth Day Expo, Michigan’s largest Earth Day celebration.


The expo will feature a kids stage that is dedicated to kid-friendly events. Some of the activities include a craft in which participants make recycled paper and a groundwater pollution presentation. The event will take place in downtown Rochester and runs from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm on Saturday the 18th and 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on Sunday the 19th.

This expo was awesome! The weather was great too. My favorite booths were the vegan pasty booths, the educational massage therapists and the DoTerra essential oils.
