More on Colony Collapse Disorder

Previously, I posted a press release here on Raising Them Green about how children are helping to save the honey bees. I also wrote about Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) for the Mother Nature Network – Save the bees! Today, I received my subscription to the Green SAHM blog in my inbox and yesterday, there was an article about Colony Collapse Disorder that I wanted to share with you.

Here’s an excerpt from the blog post:

The first is from Science Daily. They quote a study published in Society for Applied Microbiology: Environmental Microbiology Reports that treating two bee colonies for Nosema ceranae allowed the depleted colonies to recover. They found no other pathogens in those colonies to account for their initial collapse.
