EcoFriendly Diaper Cake Giveaway

by Melissa on May 26, 2009

Thank you to all that entered my contest, I have used the random.org number generator and the winner of the contest is Marie, as she posted the sixth comment. Marie, I will be contacting you via email. Congratulations!

ecofriendly-3blue-diaper-cake2I am excited to announce that I am hosting a giveaway for an EcoFriendly diaper cake from Diaper Cakewalk. The diaper cake makes a great new baby gift for your favorite eco-conscious mom-to-be. Read on to learn more about Leah from Diaper Cakewalk and how to enter to win this amazing giveaway.

After making diaper cakes for her friends’ baby showers for years, Leah decided to open her own business and in 2006, Diaper Cakewalk was born. Recently, Leah began to offer an EcoFriendly diaper cake. I asked Leah about this new product offering and she said:

“I knew it would be important to many of my customers to have a ‘green’ option. When it comes to being earth-friendly, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the enormity of the task. I believe in making small changes where you can instead of focusing on what you can’t do. Maybe you can’t afford to buy all organic groceries, but you CAN grow your own tomato plants on the back deck. Maybe you can’t afford an electric car to run errands with, but you CAN afford re-usable cloth grocery bags to put the groceries in. I love offering a diaper cake made from chlorine-free disposables because I feel great knowing that new moms are being introduced to a simple but significant way to help the environment when they receive these cakes as gifts, and many of these moms will continue using the EcoFriendly diapers for the duration. It’s a small contribution toward encouraging environmental stewardship – but I believe small changes add up.”

So now that you know a little more about Leah and Diaper Cakewalk, on to the giveaway details.

  • The giveaway begins today and runs through Sunday night (May 31) at 8:00 pm Eastern.
  • I will use a Random Number Generator to determine the winner of the giveaway.
  • Leah will ship the EcoFriendly diaper cake directly from her Georgia location; shipping usually takes place within three business days.
  • The contest is open to residents of the United States.

In order to be eligible to win the EcoFriendly diaper cake, please leave a comment below with a valid email address. If you don’t leave a valid email address, I won’t be able to contact you to obtain your shipping information.

If you would like to earn an additional entry, you can either write a post on your blog about the giveaway with a link back to RaisingThemGreen.com or post the giveaway on your Twitter account. If you choose to blog or Tweet about the giveaway, please return and post a second comment with a link to your blog post or Tweet. To help with the ease of administering the contest, I’m limiting it to two entries per person.

Due to the unreliable nature of some pingbacks, I ask that you come back and post a comment with a link to your blog post. Just in case you’re curious, I have the nofollow disabled so comments do get a little search engine link juice.

In closing, I’d like to thank Leah at Diaper Cakewalk for the opportunity to host this giveaway.

Super cute! Like a previous commenter, I think a diaper cake with cloth dipes would be great, but these are wonderful, too!

WOW, I’d love to win this cake, it’s awesome. My husbands work just made us one with regular diapers so cute, but this is more my style:) as I’m mostly cloth diapering. Second due 7/15/09
