Attachment Parenting International celebrated its 15th Year Anniversary in 2009. To honor the commitment that API co-founders Barbara Nicholson and Lysa Parker have made to changing the lives of children around the world, as well as the dedication and advocacy by the rest of the attachment parenting community, API hosted its 15th Anniversary Celebration in Tennessee. Due to some health concerns with my children, I was unable to attend the event. After watching this video, I’m even more bummed that I missed it.
The think tank event was a one-of-a-kind opportunity to sit down before a panel of parenting experts including API co-founders, Dr. William Sears and his wife Martha Sears, Dr. James McKenna of the Mother-Baby Behavioral Sleep Laboratory at Notre Dame, La Leche League International (LLLI) co-founder Mary Ann Cahill, and many more.
If I’ve piqued your interest, you can support Attachment Parenting International and purchase an MP3 recording of this event: The Eight Principles of Parenting.
