We are back from our vacation and posts and pics will be coming soon! My parents and the four of us (Alex, Ava, hubby, and myself) took a trip to visit some of Arizona’s natural parks and outdoor wonders. As the weather neared 110 in the Phoenix area, we enjoyed 70-80 degree weather in Northern Arizona.
Here’s a quick list of where we went:
- Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument
- Wupatki National Monument
- Lava River Cave
- Walnut Canyon National Monument
- Grand Canyon National Park
Of course I’ve got lots of fodder for blog posts and although we’ve only been home about two hours, Alexander has already written his first blog post. I want to wait until I can get some pictures to accompany his post before publishing it but his will be the first one I publish. It was a great trip and I think everyone is just a wee bit exhausted.

Sounds like a fabulous trip. I cannot wait to do those kinds of trips with our girls. Just a few more years before it makes sense for us.
Can’t wait to hear the stories!
Thanks for the comment Abbie – we had a lot of fun and were definitely tired at the end. When winter hits we’ll visit some of the natural attractions in southern Arizona.
